A super-welcoming, thoughtful host, just one quick phone call and Jean Claude is right there! I’ve never seen anything like it in a rental.
The house is comfortable, with high-quality finishes; the sofa and bedding are cozy, and the attic bedroom (2nd floor) has air conditioning, which also cools the first-floor bedroom via the staircase. A pétanque court, four electric bikes, and a rowboat are available free of charge. This house is best suited for families, as you have to go through the first-floor bedroom to access the second one.
I recommend it 100%.

The location on the Maas River is wonderful; it’s peaceful and perfectly situated, and with the electric bikes available, there’s plenty to do in the immediate area.
The accommodations are top-notch and fully equipped, with a cozy living room, comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, and a spacious garden.
Jean-Claud is, as is often mentioned, a fantastic host. Being able to use his boat, along with his many tips on things to do in the area and his warm welcome, made our stay absolutely wonderful! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! Jean-Claude is truly a superhost, very welcoming, thoughtful, and accommodating.
We really enjoyed the complimentary electric boat with the family, which made our stay extra special, as well as the electric bikes offered.
The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Thank you, Jean-Claude, for the amazing hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely love to come back! ❤️

We loved our time at Jean-Claude's house by the water. Waking up every morning to the beautiful river & forest view is priceless. Loved the daily cycling, hikes, outings to near by caves, etc there is so much to explore in the area. Jean-Claude is a wonderful host, always ready with recommendations and happy to help out. The house itself was cozy, immaculately clean and perfect for us, a family of 3 including our teenage son. We loved the kitchen area and enjoyed all meals with a view. The AC kept us cool & comfortable during the heat wave. As mentioned by previous reviewers, the steep stairs to the bedrooms would make this property not suitable for very young children or people with mobility issues. Also all bedrooms and the shared bathroom (situated inside the main bedroom) are separated by curtains only so this set up is really ideal only for parents & children. All in all, we would come back in a heart beat for sure. Thank you for a lovely stay Jean-Claude!

We had a fantastic weekend! From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome.
We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, had a wonderful time biking on the electric bikes, and as an extra highlight, we were even able to use the little boat. That made our stay truly unforgettable.
The house was perfect: clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. Everything was just right, down to the smallest details.
We’ll definitely be back! Next time, we’ll bring more friends and book the larger house. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. Even before our arrival, communication with Jean-Claude was excellent—especially regarding the crib, high chair, and child seat for the e-bike for our 18-month-old child—all of which he provided, making our trip very pleasant.
The personal welcome was exceptionally warm. We’ve never been welcomed so generously by a host. Here, hospitality truly comes from the heart.
The accommodation is perfectly equipped and cozy (the beds are great!), the location is fantastic, and the view of the Meuse River is breathtaking. The e-bikes were perfect for our trip to Dinant.
We felt right at home and would love to come back. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! ☺️
